The Trinity 1920s style mantel

We make Fireplaces from 1920s Art Deco fireplaces and classic Edwardian fireplace and mantel designs.
This fireplace mantel is typical of the 1920s era. It is a mantel for those who were not taken by the "Style Modern". This design of mantel outlived its more Art Deco counterparts and would have easily been found in homes built in the late 1940s and the 1950s. The Trinity mantel has fairly simple foot blocks and elegant, slender looking legs. The style is not ornamented but the grain of the wood is used gives character to the piece. The panelled frieze and the small overhanging mantel shelf are both developments from the bolder Edwardian style and suit the style and size of suburban homes that became more common after the first world war. Note: The overall depth of the main body is approx 6 inches. The depth when including the shelf is approx 9 1/2 inches. The depth of the alcove shelf is approx 3 inches, but can be made to up to 4 inch depth on customer request.
