1931 mahogany Art Deco fireplace mantel

We make Fireplaces from 1920s Art Deco fireplaces and classic Edwardian fireplace and mantel designs.
A tall mahogany mantel dated February 17th 1931 which was removed from a 1930s semi on Yew Tree Lane in Manchester. The mantel has a large central bevelled mirror with a shaped top. The sides of the mantel are concave finely figured veneer panels mounted on a deep wide serpentine shelf that spans the frieze. The mantel frieze has fine diamond moulding under the central, bowed shelf and bull-nose moulding to the bottom of this frieze section. Both the plain legs on moulded block feet have vertical grain in the rich warm mahogany.
