Cadiz Art Deco all tiled fireplace
This tiled fireplace was originally made in the 1950s but would be equally at home in any inter-war period home.
It is unusual among our tiled designs in that the fireplace itself is made in a wooden mould. This does make the size of the fireplace fixed.
The bold curved pillars are formed using over a hundred one inch wide fireplace tiles, which we make ourselves at the factory in Stockport.
The central shelf at 9 inches x 18 inches is fairly generous.
The original hearth with this fireplace was of the type with a square fender built in, but we have generally produced it with the "Clean Easy" type hearth shown here.
The original fireplace was made in a mottled tile, but we feel that this statement fireplace suits the Ivory / Black colour combination to give it a modern feel.
The Ivory / Burgundy colour combination give the fireplace a strong 1950s or 1960s period look.
