Stovax Riva 40

We make Fireplaces from 1920s Art Deco fireplaces and classic Edwardian fireplace and mantel designs.

A very efficient inset glass fronted stove from the Stovax range.

In addition to providing contemporary style, a Riva 40 fire significantly increases the level of heat in your room compared to a conventional open fire. Combustion efficiency is up to 4 times greater; giving you more heat for your money and lower fuel costs.

It features a Cleanburn system with secondary combustion air directed into the top of the burning chamber from a series of vents.

The stove has an externally operated riddling grate, and a stainless steel ashpan and tool

The door handle is detachable to prevent it overheating.

This smallest model in the Riva range is designed to fit a standard, 22 inch (560mm) high x 16 inch (405mm) wide, British fireplace opening with the chair brick removed.

Thus you can update the look of your living room with minimal construction work and, possibly without the need to remove the existing hearth and mantel. Alternatively the Riva 40 fire can be installed as a 'hole in the wall' fire.
