1950's all tiled fireplace

We make Fireplaces from 1920s Art Deco fireplaces and classic Edwardian fireplace and mantel designs.

Made with two shades of beige / brown mottled tiles this fireplace has a wide range of interesting features. From the kerbed hearth to the curved top the tiles are on so many different levels that it is also a masterpiece of tiled fireplace manufacturing.

Starting with the darker mottled glaze - this has been used for the moulded kerb blocks of the hearth, the stepped opening tiles, the foot blocks and raised tiles above them, the zig zag embossed tiles across the top of the fire recess and the ribbed blocks of the central recessed shelf.

The remainder of the fireplace is in the lighter mottled glaze. The plain 6 inch square tiles of the hearth contrasting with the array of stick tiles curving into the fire recess and forming the stunning curved top of the piece all framed by triple stepped moulded blocks.
