1930s tiled bedroom fireplace

We make Fireplaces from 1920s Art Deco fireplaces and classic Edwardian fireplace and mantel designs.

A simple 1930s bedroom fireplace in excellent condition taken from a house in Irlam, Manchester.

The fireplace is made from standard mottled beige-brown tiles typical of the era.

The inlay section above the fireplace opening is tiled unusually in smaller mottled tiles giving this fireplace a different look to normal.

The opening tiles are patterned to stand out a little more than the usual curved bullnose tiles usually seen on these small bedroom fireplaces of the 1930s.

The hearth features a small tile on a tile kerb typical of the era.
