1920's Arts and Crafts tiled insert

We make Fireplaces from 1920s Art Deco fireplaces and classic Edwardian fireplace and mantel designs.

This stunning insert dates from the late 1920's and features intricate black and yellow detailing on a blue/grey mottled background.

The fire opening is formed from unique opening blocks forming their own angled recess within a rectangular frame of curved blocks. Above is a rectangular decoration of black and yellow ribbed tile strips surrounding a central diamond motif with black and yellow cross hatching.

The double recess for the fireplace opening means that this insert requires a mantel with a large rebate - it is ideally suited to a landscape format surround such as our Gorton reproduction mantel.
