Vintage 1950s tiled fireplace with gold metallic detail

We make Fireplaces from 1920s Art Deco fireplaces and classic Edwardian fireplace and mantel designs.

This 1950s tiled fireplace is quite typical of the era and is very well constructed.

Very simple in overall shape, but a lot of work has gone into the making of this fireplace.

The stainless steel frame of the fireplace opening is framed by the light grey 6 inch tiles, with a gold metallic horizontal details

This leads into ribbed tiles in the grey, with hobs and black 1/4 round edge tiles to the inside edge.

The hearth is of the Clean-Easy type with a black pad in front of the fire and black returns.

The fireplace has been well used, and does show signs of wear.
