1930s brick effect fireplace

We make Fireplaces from 1920s Art Deco fireplaces and classic Edwardian fireplace and mantel designs.

This large and impressive tiled, brick effect, fireplace from the late 1930s is in excellent condition.

The fire opening is deeply recessed under a flattened arch and flanked by large patterned hobs leaving a small hearth between them which protrudes forward by the thickness of the raised kerb.

The whole arrangement of steps and recesses gives an added sense of perspective to the focal point of the fireplace opening.
