1950s complete fireplace

We make Fireplaces from 1920s Art Deco fireplaces and classic Edwardian fireplace and mantel designs.

This complete 1950s all tiled fireplace in two shades of mottled beige / brown tile features the Art Deco style drop shoulders and curved shelf header shelf.
The fire opening is recessed and framed with stepped blocks to the sides and a ribbed arch above in the darker mottle.
The legs feature block feet and a central rib of moulded tiles in the darker colour and a 2 inch step up to the header, with its inset shelf backed by finger tiles in the darker shade.
The hearth has a raised kerb in 6 inch x 3 inch tiles and can be made with a contrasting tongue to push under the fire opening.
