Unusual 1950s fireplace

We make Fireplaces from 1920s Art Deco fireplaces and classic Edwardian fireplace and mantel designs.

An extraordinary stepped fireplace made in 1957.
The main body is made from rippled textured honey glaze 6 x 2 inch tiles.
The canopy steps down graduating in 1 inch strips and the ledges are faïence blocks, wonderfully glazed in a streaky green.
The push-to hearth has a pair of massive hobs which curve inwards and a raised kerb section between them.
There are two feature tiles 6 inch sq of galleons near the top of the fire opening.
